These palm leaves make me think of the palm leaves under Jesus' feet when He entered Jerusalem. I like to wear them all year round but especially for Palm Sunday!

The palm leaf is a symbol of joy and festivity, and the palm is also one of the oldest plants in the world; it existed 80 million years ago. Capable of growing in very arid areas, its sap doesn't circulate underneath the bark as is the case for most trees but is concentrated in the heart of the trunk. Straight, rich in fruit and leaves that Man has learned to weave together to accomplish many things, it is a beautiful metaphor for Christian life.
